Loving and expert production
of premium wine and sparkling wine

The Vinogradništvo Matečko wine-growing establishment is located in a small village of Jakobski dol in the heart of the hilly region of Slovenske gorice. The story of our wine-growing business dates back to around 1945, but our efforts in this field became more intense from 1990 onwards. Since then, our selection of wines and the entire range in general has expanded significantly.

Extending across 4.16 hectares of vineyards, we cultivate the following grapevine varieties: Welschriesling, Rhine Riesling, Sauvignon, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, Yellow Muscat, Traminer and Rivaner.

Our production process is integrated and environmentally friendly. In addition to our very own variety, we offer premium quality wines, such as the Yellow Muscat, the Traminer and the Sauvignon, as well as five types of sparkling wine in which we take special pride.

It is our wish to continue using our knowledge, love and experience to turn grapes into excellent wine and sparkling wine, thus sharing our love of the grapevine with you, our esteemed customers.
